Snowing in the Steam Store!
Dec 5th
If you’re planning on playing any games during this festive season, we recommend that you always keep closed the store screen during gameplay, this is because Steam, in its infinite wisdom has added snow to it’s shop area, which is making modern PC’s use 8-12% of it’s CPU usage to display this what is a total waste of time.
By ensuring you are on the “My Games” Tab you will drop your CPU to 0-1%
Another tip from us, and a oversight from Steam.
How did I noticed this? Call of Duty MW2 was running like shit and I investigated!
Steam Bargain Games with upto 75% off!
Dec 5th
This December you may have noticed Valve/Steam are having MASSIVE reductions on alot of the games they sell. Which put’s them at a good price.
However, for some reason they’ve moved the payment processing from London to Ireland, thus causing atleast Lloyds TSB Bank Customers to pay a £1 oversea’s transaction fee, which they will not refund.
Ontop of this due to them moving the “Usual” Payment Processing Location alot of Bank’s have blocked the payments and blocked cards from being used, this happened to me and about 5 other people that I know of at least.
That’s another Steam fail for this December!, So keep away unless you want an overseas transaction fee applied (if your bank is shit like Lloyds TSB).
And then it got worse…
Nov 13th
So Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is out for the PC, and the great shock horror? Well you need to use it via steam, Can’t install the game without being online, can’t opt out of using steam, which quite frankly makes an otherwise brilliant game, SHIT.
Nice one guy, thank’s for using shitty steam to make your game unplayable and annoying!

About the Game
SAW centers on Detective David Tapp who awakens in a decrepit, abandoned asylum. He has been captured by his longtime nemesis, Jigsaw. Obsessed with catching this serial killer, Tapp’s mission has consumed him and ruined his family, resulting in divorce, mental imbalance, and abandonment. Worse yet, this frantic hunt destroyed Tapp’s career while he watched his long-time friend and partner get killed by one of Jigsaw’s traps. Now Jigsaw has the upper hand and has captured the detective. Tapp must play a deadly game—the likes of which he has been investigating for years—to escape, and in order to do so he must survive the lethal traps and puzzles that Jigsaw has put in place for him and others. But each victim has a dark connection to Tapp. Will Tapp save them? Can he survive his obsession to find the Jigsaw killer?
- Traps of Lethal Cunning – Jigsaw has laid out a gauntlet of torturous traps for a handful of innocents. Only you stand between them and the most brutal death imaginable. Think quickly and act! The clock is ticking.
- Choices of conscience – The player is forced to make difficult moral choices. Who lives and who dies in the game is determined by the player’s choices.
- Mysteries Revealed – Unanswered questions from the films are finally laid to rest. Gamers will discover the origin of Jigsaw and why he devoted his life to games, while also finding out what happened to the characters from the first SAW movie.
- Ecology of Terror – The asylum in which Jigsaw has trapped you is abandoned, but it is far from empty. It is a living world of horror populated by Jigsaw’s minions and the insane souls they torture… and they have no intention of letting you leave.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) is now available for pre-purchase via Steam
Oct 23rd
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) is now available for pre-purchase via Steam. One of the most-anticipated releases of all time, Modern Warfare 2 continues the gripping and heart-racing action as players face off against a new threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. For more information, please visit www.steamgames.com.
However I suggest buying this game from a local retailer because if you have any trouble playing it, Steam / Valve Software will just tell you to get lost, HOWEVER You can get a refund for such things, like I’ve managed to!
Aion Online Powerleveling, Why?
Oct 23rd
I see alot of adverts (even on this site from the google ads) for power leveling of Aion Online toons…… Why?
Can it seriously be viable already that people are powerleveling toons? Surely people atleast want to learn the game and play it before randomly boosting toons to level xxx and no doubt with the long leveling times and the 25+ PVP / PVPE that Aion is then its bloody expensive?
So lets throw £45 at the game, £8 a month and then £200 to ding it, good luck with that people! Buying Kinah is just as bad too!
